José Cayasso (commonly known as Caya) is a seasoned entrepreneur and CEO from Costa Rica. He has a flair for storytelling and currently spearheads Slidebean as CEO, a venture-backed startup established in 2014. As a Youtuber, he hosts one of the platform’s most-watched startup-centric channels with over 500,000 subscribers. Slidebean has been featured in Tech Crunch, The Next Web and The Economist.

DR. JAMIE KNIGHT

Dr. Jamie Knight has a PhD in psychology, and her work encompasses neuropsychological and chemosensory functioning across different stages of life. Her research is dedicated to exploring new possibilities, and seeking innovative ways to harness the power of our senses in maintaining and improving cognitive function. She received her PhD in Lifespan Health and Developmental Psychology from the UVic.

Scott Dewis is a founder-CEO with over 22 years of experience. He offers strategic growth advisory services to business owners and founder led companies. He has expertise utilizing proven strategies for predictable sales processes, and helps businesses achieve product-market fit, drive revenue growth and scale. As an entrepreneur with decades of experience, he understands what's required to ensure success.

MICHAEL PEIRONE

Michael Peirone is the CEO of Victoria Hand Project, a Canadian charity organization with the mission to provide low-cost, 3D printed prosthetic devices to developing countries and under-served communities. His experience spans a wide range of areas including engineering, operations, intellectual property, business strategy, fundraising and biological systems.

Susan Power is the Founder and CEO of PowerUp Leadership, a boutique consulting advisory and leadership coaching firm based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Over her 20 year career, she has specialized in building leadership capability for Executives in order to effectively inspire a team towards high trust and performance. She has an MBA degree from the University of Calgary.

KATE FAGAN TAYLOR

Kate Fagan Taylor is a certified Management Consultant and executive coach. Her career spans 25 years of organizational development, including executive leadership, and strategic transformations in the public and academic sectors, not-for-profits, health organizations and the software industry. Her 2023 TEDx talk provides insights into the way we think about time and navigating change.

David Leverton is CEO of Leverton & Associates and has has been actively involved in entrepreneurial activities for over 35 years. He has worked internationally and throughout Canada in executive management positions for several major public attractions including Science Centres, museums and First Nation Cultural Centres. He has also overseen the planning of a new Aquarium and Natural History Centre.

Petra Skapa is an accomplished Agile specialist, Project Manager, Iteration Manager, Scrum Master, Agile Mentor, Coach and Applications Developer in the creation of custom software business solutions. She has been working in Agile methodologies since 2001 and has taught thousands of students through in person and virtual classes throughout the world and is an expert in the application of Agile process.

DR. RON ALEXANDER

Dr. Ronald Alexander, PhD, has been a psychotherapist for more than forty-four years, and is also an international trainer, leadership consultant and the Executive Director of the OpenMind Training Institute in Santa Monica. He is the author of the widely acclaimed book "Wise Mind, Open Mind" which provides practical and innovative applications to help us through hard times.

Karen Mason, CFP, CLU, CHS is a Certified Financial Planner, a Chartered Life Underwriter and a Certified Health Insurance Specialist. Her background includes management roles such as trainer of financial advisors and development manager. She has been involved in Financial Services since 1983 and has worked extensively in the fields of retirement, tax and estate planning, business succession planning, investments and insurance.

Tyler Bayley is a renowned international speaker who has empowered diverse audiences with a global speaking circuit spanning Myanmar, South Korea and the US. He has expertise empowering people to become confident communicators with dynamic presentations which utilize their voice effectively. For over a decade, he has refined his expertise in advanced presentation skills.

Nick Dechev, Ph.D, P.Eng, is the Founder and CTO of Victoria Hand Project and has has over 23 years of experience in Product Design. He is an associate professor at the UVic, overseeing the Biomedical Design and Systems research laboratory, and has previously served as Acting Chairman of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Director of the Biomedical Engineering Program.

Olga Netchaeva has 15 years of industry experience as an Organizational Development Consultant and Coach in two provincial governments, supporting senior leaders in technology, science and finance streams. She has helped leaders navigate complex change and uncertainty by creating a transformative impact within their business. Her areas of expertise include neuroscience and systemic coaching.

ANNE MARIE DRYDEN

Anne Marie Dryden, CFP, CLU, is a Partner with BPF Wealth, a global company with over 2,000 independent financial advisors and over $54 billion in assets under administration. She is an entrepreneur and a 30+ year veteran as a successful independent in the financial services industry with expertise in helping business owners and professionals.

Rob Mcinerney is the CEO of International Gold Vault which provides individuals and institutions with access to wholesale physical gold, silver, platinum, and palladium worldwide, vaulted or delivered. His team has 15+ years experience in precious metals and offers the lowest transaction fees allowing account holders to efficiently trade within all worldwide markets.
